Frenectomy

In certain areas of the oral cavity (inside of the upper and lower lips, the tongue), there are folds of tissue commonly referred to as frenulums that may sometimes interfere with swallowing, phonation and the proper positioning of the teeth. Sometimes these folds must be sectioned or repositioned more adequately with the use of a laser.
