Orthognatic surgery

Together with orthodontics or following a syndromic genetic disorder (Down’s syndrome, Treacher-Collins syndrome, Crouzon syndrome, Goldenhar syndrome…), a facial trauma or in the context of sleep apnea, it is sometimes necessary to reposition the jaws more adequately in order to improve chewing, digestion, phonation, breathing and obviously, aesthetics. Bear in mind that this is a functional surgery with aesthetic repercussions and not the opposite.
